WorldMusicSamples offers carefully curated collections of authentic voices, traditional instruments, percussion, wildlife recordings, and immersive soundscapes sourced from diverse cultures and environments worldwide.
Designed for producers, composers, DJs, and sound designers, these libraries provide unique sonic tools for Organic House, World Music, Ambient, Downtempo, Cinematic, and Electronic productions.
Beyond cultural recordings and sound archives, the collection also features a growing range of production-ready sounds designed for modern music production, including drums, basses, synths, chords, pads, stabs, FX, textures, and ambient elements.

THE COLLECTION
The Journey
For more than 15 years, I have been exploring traditional music, cultural archives, field recordings, and rare sound sources from every corner of the globe.
What began as a personal passion for discovering new cultures gradually evolved into WorldMusicSamples; a project dedicated to preserving and sharing unique sounds, voices, instruments, and soundscapes from diverse musical traditions.
Every collection is carefully curated through years of research, exploration, and sound gathering, with the goal of preserving cultural heritage and offering authentic inspiration to music creators. Many of the libraries also incorporate field recordings collected during my travels.
And this journey is only beginning.
Future collections will increasingly incorporate original recordings captured firsthand as part of the upcoming Sonic Atlas series; an immersive collection of country-focused sound libraries exploring cultures, traditions, environments, and the unique sonic identity of each destination.
Alongside Sonic Atlas, Primal Earth – Wildlife & Soundscapes will expand the collection with immersive nature recordings, wildlife sounds, and environmental ambiences gathered from some of the world's most remarkable natural environments.

Behind The Project
WorldMusicSamples was created by Kaöb, a music producer, DJ, explorer, and sound enthusiast whose journey into cultures, traditional music, and rare sound sources began more than 15 years ago and continues to this day.
Having explored 59 countries and lived in France, Ireland, Mexico, and Brazil, his passion for cultural discovery has shaped both his musical career and his approach to sound collection.
As a music producer for more than 17 years, Kaöb has released over 100 tracks on more than 35 record labels worldwide and performed internationally as a DJ across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
He was also the co-founder and artistic director of the Paris-based O'Tawa collective, where he organized 22 events between 2018 and 2021. In 2023, he independently organized a music festival in Panama, and in late 2025 embarked on a two-month DJ tour across China, continuing a journey that would later lead him to perform in Tokyo in March 2026.
Alongside his musical career, he has continuously built a vast library of voices, instruments, field recordings, and soundscapes that would eventually evolve into WorldMusicSamples.
Today, this journey is far from over. Through continued travel, exploration, field recording, and encounters with indigenous peoples and ethnic communities, new voices, instruments, traditions, ceremonies, rituals, environments, and soundscapes will continue to shape future collections for years to come.
